Buy from eBay

Component Warehouse News No Comments »

Component Warehouse has now started selling items on eBay! We are starting with a few of our legendary digital photo frames. If you like our products, you can now buy them through the secure eBay service, paying with PayPal. Although we accept PayPal on our website as a very secure way to pay, but we feel that some people would rather complete the whole transaction with the peace of mind provided by the eBay and PayPal buyer protection schemes.

You can view all the items we currently have listed on eBay here.

REMEMBER! Our price maybe slightly more expensive than the other eBay sellers, but our items are already in the UK, meaning that there’ll be no surprise taxes to pay. We also backup our products with full support, unlike some sellers.

One Amazon seller..

Blog News, Support 1 Comment »

Yesterday, I received an email asking for support for an MP4 Player we sell at Component Warehouse. I gladly sent a few pointers, although I could not remember selling an MP4 player to the said person. About 30 minutes later, I received an email back saying that they had already tried the points I suggested, and that they had bought the MP4 player from an Amazon seller, who had recommended them to our quick start guide!

The Amazon seller had sold the MP4 player, and then (with their great customer support) told the buyer to take a look at our support pages, saying that tech support would not be around until Friday! So, next time you think about trying to save a few extra £’s using Amazon, remember this story, and that it might not be worth it after all.

Royal Mail Vs. DHL

Uncategorized No Comments »

DHL VanRoyal Mail is a UK postage company, for those of you who are not in the UK. Now, they really are great, they deliver to any address within the UK for the same low price. They deliver daily (except Sundays) and most items get there fairly quickly.

But when we are shipping across countries, we tend to use DHL, who are one of the biggest couriers. Now, DHL may be more expensive, but the thing that startled us was that a parcel with DHL could get from China to the UK, including being collected and delivered to our address, in a day! Yes, that’s around 24 hours (excluding the change in time zones) to get from China to the UK. Now if we were to post an item with Royal Mail at 11 in the morning, even to a house down the road, you’d have to use an expensive Next Day service service to get it there in 24 hours.

Come on Royal Mail, sort it out.

New stock is here!
